Michel Tremblay has been working in the performing arts industry for over 25 years. As a production manager, technical director or lighting designer, he puts his experience at the service of the creation of various artistic projects.
As a lighting designer, he took part in numerous productions such as Légendes Fantastiques, Le Diner Farfelu II, Génération Motown, Cirque Éloize, numerous special events and from 2003 to 2007, produced the lighting for Mr. Gilles Vigneault’s tours.
An accomplished technical director, he takes an active part in the creation of productions of Cirque Éloize, Cheval-Théâtre, pan-Canadian events of the Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, Joe Dassin, la grande fête musicale and the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde amongst others.
He also provides technical direction for the creation of the resident Las Vegas show, Viva Elvis from Cirque du Soleil, as well as technical direction for the creation of the PY1 infrastructures of Lune Rouge Entertainment.
Partner of the director Hugo Bélanger since 1995, he combines the production management and the technical direction of Théâtre Tout à Trac’s creations. Since 2010, he is also responsible for the general and administrative management of the company.
He received the 2017 Sentinelle Engagement durable award from the Conseil Québécois du Théâtre (CQT), which recognizes his exceptional contribution as a cultural worker.
